Get ready for cinnamon rolls season; there is a South Florida farm that will have you waking up early every Saturday to stand in line for their most-anticipated sweet treat of the season. Knaus Berry Farm is officially opening on October 29th and you will be drooling before getting a taste.
The traditional farm offers homemade baked goods, ice cream, desserts and more, but what makes locals and other Floridians do a road trip to this South Florida haven is the sticky cinnamon rolls that melt in your mouth.
If you are thinking this is all hype, at least start with their strawberry-picking activity. From November through mid-April, Knaus Berry Farm offers U-pick strawberries and tomatoes and one of the best milkshakes to accompany your cinnamon bun tasting.
A trip to Knaus Berry Farm is one of the best fall and winter activities in Florida. As soon you arrive at the location, you will notice people standing in line waiting to order a dozen of the sticky buns.
It is not a trip to Knaus Berry Farm if you don't get a dozen rolls and a box of strawberries. The farm only accepts cash and U-pick is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The sticky bun season is one of the most anticipated for South Floridians. Also, the farm collaborates with different local restaurants such as The Salty Donut to bring a unique recipe to fans.
The farm is located in Homestead where you can take advantage and visit other local farms and fruit stands such as Robert is Here. You can get a dozen cinnamon rolls for $11 or half a dozen for $5.90.
