Lady Gaga Is Hosting A Private Performance In Toronto And Here's How You Can Go

Well Toronto, it looks like we have another celebrity to add to the list of VIP's in town for TIFF, which runs Sept. 7 to 17.

Lady Gaga will be in town for the star studded affair, to attend the world premiere of her documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two.

The premiere screening will take place at the Princess of Wales Theatre on September 8th, accompanied by "an intimate onstage performance" from the American singer, organizers said Thursday.

Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel, the Netflix original documentary will be available on Netflix September 22 and shows a behind the scenes look at the life of the singer and follows her over an eight-month period as she records and releases her 2016 album, "Joanne."

The documentary will give fans an inside look at the star's life - whose real name is Stefani Joanne Germanotta - including personal struggles, and interactions with family and friends in her everyday life.

"Moukarbel's documentary offers an unprecedented look at Lady Gaga in full creative mode: the ideas, the emotion, the sheer work it takes to do what she does," TIFF artistic director Cameron Bailey said Thursday in a statement.

"We're thrilled to be bringing this film to audiences in Toronto, and even more excited that Lady Gaga will follow the screening with a performance. This one is for all her fans, Little Monsters, and movie lovers alike."

If you're a Gaga fan, we highly recommend hanging near the Princess of Wales Theatre on the 8th for a chance encounter with the star.

Lady Gaga's Little Monsters were probably thrilled to hear that her documentary Five Foot Two was finally released on Netflix.

Most of the 31-year-old singer's fans were eagerly awaiting the release, after Gaga announced that she planned on taking a break from music.

Poor Gaga. With the release of her new documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, the star has been dealing with tons of emotional, physical and professional stress. From announcing why she separated from fiancee Taylor Kinney to stepping back from the music industry, Gaga has been on a whirlwind the past few weeks and apparently that stress has taken a toll on her body.

The one and only Idris Elba was in Toronto for TIFF this week for the premiere of his new film The Mountain Between Us - a powerful drama about a surgeon (Idris Elba) and a journalist (Kate Winslet) must rely on each other for survival when the small plane they share crashes in the wilderness.

Say it ain't so!! We've seen it happen to the greats before. Justin Timberlake, is a great example. Of a superstar musician that walked away from music for a long long time. Lady Gaga has been generating amazing, revolutionary pop music for a number of years now, acquiring a ridiculously loyal fan base. Her Little Monster's will be sad to hear that Lady G is stepping out of the spotlight - at least concert wise - for quite some time now.
