Lake Tahoe In Nevada Has Some Of The Bluest Water Around

There's nothing like taking cross country road trips through the mountainside. With the triple-digit temps finally coming to an end, you can spend your fall jumping off rocks, lounging on the beach, and relaxing in cool water at Lake Tahoe in Nevada

Lake Tahoe is North America's largest mountain lake and its crystal clear water will make you feel like you're in the Caribbean. The park is open year-round and during the off-season in mid-October through mid-April, you can bring your pets with you.

During the summer, parking lots can be jam-packed, so fall is a great time to visit. Admission to this state park is $10 per vehicle or $2 per person on a bike.

Your fall bucket list won't be complete if this lake isn't included! You and your friends can squeeze into your car and head to this sapphire water beach for the ultimate girl's trip.

The water here is so clear that you can take amazing underwater photos. You can jump in and catch your friend making a silly face underwater.

Sand Harbor Beach is also a great place to kayak, paddleboard, swim, or scuba dive in. When you're done having fun in the water, you can sunbathe. Clothing is optional.

Lake Tahoe also has 50-miles worth of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. When you're done soaking up the sun, you can hike the popular Marlette Flume Trail. It's only 4.4 miles roundtrip.

Overnight camping isn't allowed at this state park, but you can book a rental nearby and go back the following day. Whether you're passing through or a Nevada native, Lake Tahoe is one of the best places to wind down and have fun.

Your road trip shouldn't end here. This fall, you can check out some of the fun things to do in Phoenix this October. It'll be worth the trip.
