The best workout activity with a glass of wine afterwards.
You Can Actually Stomp Some Grapes At This Florida Vineyard

If you are a wine aficionado then your wine dreams will come true. Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards is Florida's largest premium winery and is a pioneer in sparkling wines.

This 127-acre estate has native Muscadine grape varieties Noble, Carlos and Welder, as well as Vinifera varieties to include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Visitors can receive complimentary winery tours and wine tasting at this place. And, if you are wondering how wine is made you can learn the process of fermentation and practice grape stomping during one of their festivals. You might have seen this in the movies but that's how wine used to be processed back in the days.

Before you go, you need to know that Florida is the birthplace of American wine. This place provides the perfect date atmosphere and complete relaxation. Lakeridge Winery also has early festivals like the Summer Grape Stomp festival.

If you want to be involved in this one-of-a-kind experience mark your calendars for June 8th and 9th. There will be live music, wine and cheese bar, complimentary winery tours and tasting, and food available for purchase. This festival cost only $10 and you can register here.

There is nothing like starting off your summer season with purple feet and crushing lots of grapes.

Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards is located at 19239 U.S. 27 North Clermont, FL.
