Christmas came early this year in Sin City. Over the weekend, the Bellagio in Las Vegas unveiled its extravagant holiday display. With so much splendor and twinkling decorations, it's better than we imagined.
With each new season, the hotel and casino transforms its botanical gardens and conservatory with over-the-top decor. The 14,000 square-foot room is decorated by a team of professional designers.
With the holidays upon us, you can imagine that the hotel went all out this year. The resort shows its dedication to protecting the earth by recycling 90 percent of the trees, flowers, and plants used in the displays.
To prepare for the jolliest season of the year, the observatory was closed for one week. Over the course of those seven days, the designers worked diligently 24-hours a day to create an amazing spectacle.
With a massive Christmas tree, horse-drawn carriages, polar bears, nutcrackers, and more, you can see the work up-close and in-person from December 7, 2019, through January 4, 2020.
With a 42-foot tall live silver-tipped fir decorated in red, gold, and candy cane ornaments, the tree is one of the main spectacles in the large room.
Next to the massive pine, you'll see polar bears wearing big, red bows.
This year's them is the Queen's room, where you can see a fireplace, little elves holding light decorations, the Queen, her throne, and more.
According to a video uploaded by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the elves represent the workers who spent time creating the whimsical scene.
The Queen's throne is surrounded by red flowers and right next to it, there's an arch featuring candy cane mints and ornaments.
If you want to see the spectacular display for yourself, you can. Since you'll be in the city, you can also check out these magical places to take a date this winter.
