There's a new sheriff in town and it's probably not what you were expecting. Pigeons in Las Vegas have been spotted wearing cowboy hats, and tbh, it's been the talk of the town ever since. No one knows exactly how these pigeons turned into wannabe cowgirls and cowboys, but their newfound fame has earned them a song.

A Facebook user uploaded a video to his page showing the birds walking around a parking lot wearing the hats. In the video, you can hear music blasting in the background as the user begins filming the unusual sight.

He goes on to say, "These f***ing birds are wearing hats, bro!" And then begins to laugh.

The video has received over 1,900 shares and counting.

Of course, when news broke about the top hat-wearing birds, many social media users had a lot to say, but there's one, in particular, that had us ROFL.

An actor and comedian from New York dazzled her 2,535 followers with a 30-second clip of her singing an original song about the unusual occurrence.

The best part? She's wearing a cowboy hat, just like the pigeons, and a blue denim top that screams western charm.

The song goes like this, "Someone's putting cowboy hats on pigeons in Las Vegas. Nobody seems to know why. They say it's a rodeo but the rodeo says it just ain't so."

Currently, the video has over 119.1 thousand views and we can see why. The clever melody is so hilarious, that some commenters say they've listened to it multiple times.

One user said, " I have watched this literally 18 times."

The song concludes with the singer saying, "Merry Christmas, pigeons!"

According to the NY Times, animal welfare has reached out to the Facebook user who uploaded his video in the hopes of finding these pigeons and the person responsible for putting tiny hats on them.

The Las Vegas Police Department is not looking into the matter at this time, but we hope the little birdies are okay.
