She's literally a travelling Instagram goddess.

We just got the scoop from Jasmine Lorimer, Canada's first ever Bachelorette. What she's up to know, how life has been sine after her season of The Bachelorette, and more!
The beloved Bachelorette is remembered for her wild and carefree spirit. She was adored for her wanderlust personality and her love for exploring the world. Since her split with her season's winner, Kevin Wendt, Jasmine hasn't been back on TV - but according to her, she's willing to head back to The Bachelor franchise 😉.
She's now residing in Vancouver and Whistler, BC, where she travels, works, and posts the most amazing Instagram content you could ever dream of. I'm serious, she has the best feed EVER!
Well, we got ahold of Jasmine and asked her all of the questions that you're dying to know. Does she still talk to her now-ex, Kevin Wendt? Does she still keep in contact with any of the guys from her season of The Bachelorette? Is she dating now?! Also, since she's now living in Vancouver, we got all the details on her favourite places in the city.
1. Describe a typical day in your life in Vancouver.
Since I'm still living part-time in Whistler, my Vancouver days are mainly spent working (usually 12-hour days) at Brush Salon. I love the atmosphere there and being located in the heart of Gastown allows for some fantastic post-work eats. Mezcal, Tacofino, and Nicili are all down the street. Yum.
2. What are your top five favourite places in Vancouver?
1. Third Beach
2. Capilano Suspension Bridge
3. The Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park (for summer concerts)
4. Commercial Drive
5. The seawall at Coal Harbour (float-plane watching)
3. Do you still get recognized on the street as the Bachelorette? Would you say that The Bachelorette is still a large part of your identity?
I tend to be approached more regularly in Toronto rather than Vancouver, but it does happen once in a while. I do feel like being The Bachelorette in Canada has remained a part of my identity because it has morphed into a large portion of my personal brand. On social media, I am still interacting with the same audience who knew me as the Bachelorette, and with ABC producing spin offs which now include international contestants, there's still some relevancy surrounding our low-key Canadian version of the series.
4. We know that you split very amicably with Kevin Wendt, the winner from your season of The Bachelorette. Did you watch him on The Bachelor Winter Games? If so, how did you feel about him on the show?
I did watch the season of Winter Games. I told myself I wasn't going to, and when I first found out, I was a little thrown off. Partly uncomfortable... partly wanting to be on it myself (it was made for me!).
I thought I got off scot-free not having to see any of my ex's continue as The Bachelor Canada, yet here we were on a much larger scale. American television.
Eventually I accepted that it was happening, gave in, watched the whole thing and seriously loved it. It was surprisingly easy to watch Kevin on there and I genuinely thought it was a great show!
5. We're dying to know - are you still in contact with anyone from your season of The Bachelorette? If so, who?!
I am in contact with a few of the guys! I still talk to Kevin W., Benoit and Mike once in a while, and regularly keep in touch with Kevin P. We've even gone for a drink in Vancouver, but it's hard to catch him when he's not globe trotting.
A lot of people ask if I speak to Mikhel, but we haven't had much contact over the last year and a half or so.
6. Have you been in any serious relationships since The Bachelorette?
I did start up a relationship with someone whom I had known a few years ago. He was a good friend and he moved from Australia for us to try things out.
We moved in together very quickly and it was great, but it was a challenge from the start, knowing that one of us would have to choose to live in another country far away from our families and friends. We lasted eight months but, unfortunately, that relationship has very recently ended.
7. What are you currently working on? Do you have any special projects going on that your fans can look forward to?
I am currently in the process of working with my design team to launch a website. It'll be great because it will give me a platform to interact more personally with my audience. I'm going to have a section on the blog for a Q&A, as well as a section for beauty tutorials, travel, and relationship opinion pieces.
I love connecting with other women and I'd like to create a space where we can all get inspired, get honest, and build each other up. We plan to launch by summer.
8. Can you please tell us what the term "goat groupie" from your Instagram bio means?
Haha! I just generally love goats so much. I follow way too many goat-based Instagram pages, and I love how bouncy and jumpy they are. My main goal in life is to own a small one as a house pet. I had two growing up, but they were in the barn... I'm talkin' like I want it as a cat.
