This Canadian Park Is Like Visiting A Real Life Winter Fairytale

Get your cameras ready!

There's a lot of bad things that come with Toronto's current winter freeze: bone-chilling temperatures, icy roads, delayed public transport and the flu. But there are also a few good things that come with it, too.

The Christmas celebrations may have ended, but it's this time of year when spots around the world are still aglow in vibrant holiday light displays that look make the dreary winter season look, well, not so bad.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of those places, and it will make you feel like you've just stepped into a real-life winter fairytale.

Thousands of twinkling lights line the bedazzled bridge, suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River in North Vancouver, British Columbia. It may look daunting to cross, but its hundreds of thousands of visitors each year will tell you different.

In addition to the light-lined bridge, a Cliffwalk features suspended walkways offering views of the river below, where the show continues with lighting on the water in shifting hues.

A third attraction, Treetops Adventure, is made up of seven suspension bridges hanging up to 110 feet above the ground between towering evergreens. Just like everything else in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, you'll find lights here too.

Each year, visitors travel from across the country to see the creatively designed holiday-themed attractions. In December 2016, the light show drew its largest one-night crowd ever, with more than 9,000 people.

The light show is on until January 28th, with admission rates ranging from $42.95 for an adult, $33.95 for a student and $26.95 for youths.
