Ariana Grande is one of the top 10 celebrities with more than 150,000 followers - even more than the Kardashians. This Florida native and high ponytail personality is one of the most iconic celebrities and singers. Grande was born in Boca Raton, FL and her life before she got famous is pretty relatable.

Since a very young age, Ariana Grande participated in plays and sang at different public events such as the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz.

The 25-year-old singer and actress studied at Pine Crest School and North Broward Preparatory School where she lived for about 18 years before pursuing an acting career. For many Arianators, Grande gives them a sense of purpose day and night. However, her life of stardom has come with many struggles that are relatable to many teens and young adults.

According to an Elle feature, Grande has been in therapy for more than 10 years since around the time her parents divorced. Even though she was out of touch with her father for quite some time, Grande was able to reconcile with him. On an interview with Global News, Grande stated that is ok to love someone even if you don't get along with them.

In her album, Thank You, Next shows how she's ready to move on from the past. In addition, Grande's strong opinions about humanity, life and equality has turned her into a feminist hero.

As a child, Grande went to Disney World regularly and that is pretty usual for Floridians to do during the holiday. Her mom used to throw the best Halloween parties and for her 4-year-old birthday, she had a Jaws-themed party.

Throughout her career, Grande has had some setbacks such as the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. After the event, Grande did not know if she was going to sing again since the chaos left her traumatized.

Last May, Grande had to postpone her concert in Florida due to an allergic reaction with tomatoes but who knew this fruit was going to leave her so sick? However, she promised her fans to bring a concert bigger than ever. The pop-star is scheduled to perform on November 25th in Orlando just before Thanksgiving which will feel very close to home.
