Lori Loughlin And Her Husband Facing New Additional Charges After The USC Admissions Scandal

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are now facing charges of money laundering.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse to be Lori Loughlin - it did. Lori Loughlin and her husband are now facing money laundering charges after the USC admissions scandal. After a long few weeks of dealing with the backlash of the ongoing USC admissions scandal, Loughlin can't seem to catch a break. Not only is her daughter, beauty guru Olivia Jade seriously upset with her, but many of her fans are as well.

As you may have heard, Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to her charges, accepting a plea deal along with 12 other parents. Lori and Mossimo aren't getting off quite as lightly though - they could be facing up to two years in jail for the mass amount that they paid in bribes, according to TMZ.

On top of the hefty jail sentence looming, TMZ has also reported this morning that Loughlin did not cop a plea. Because of this, the U.S. Attorney got an indictment from the Federal Grand Jury to add charges of money laundering, therefore increasing the recommended prison sentence for Loughlin and her husband.

More specifically, the couple and 14 others will be charged with, "conspiring to launder the bribes and other payment in furtherance of the fraud by funneling them through [Rick] Singer's purported charity and his for-profit corporation."

It's also been learned that Olivia and her sister are currently not allowed to drop out of USC, as the university currently has them "under review". It's unknown whether the two are still attending classes, but a lack of sneaky photos from USC students have us assuming that they're laying low while the whole scandal unfolds.

The few photos captured of Loughlin show her to be in good spirits, although she does look stressed - as any of us would be in her situation. Despite all the drama she still has some fans on her side, and she's even been spotted out and about signing autographs.
