It's just another day in the life of Aaron Carter. From fans on his social media to critics on YouTube, it seems like everyone is sharing their opinions about what the '90s heartthrob has been up to lately, especially after his recent dramatic breakup with Melanie Martin. Even one of his recent tattoo artists had something to say about it.
"I think he moved a little too fast with Melanie," Carter's one-time tattoo artist Herchell L Carrasco, also known as rockrollg on Instagram, told Narcity.
Carter recently announced he was single again after spending a few months dating Martin. During the course of their relationship, he got her name tattooed above his eyebrow and has yet to cover up or remove it.
"I knew it was a bad idea," Carrasco said. "I one hundred percent think he’ll regret the Melanie tattoo, I think he currently is regretting it."
Carrasco owns and operates an award-winning tattoo shop, Pachuco Tattoo in Orange, CA; and his clientele list includes Tekashi 6ix9ine, Trippie Redd, Blueface, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Skies, Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball.
Carrasco met Carter in the fall of 2019 and did the former pop star's first face tattoo of Medusa. He said tattooing the singer was "stressful," but the two of them got along well.
"On a personal level Aaron was a cool guy and he offered us drinks, food and was hospitable," he said.
Carrasco and Carter's time working together was short-lived, and Carrasco says the two haven't been in touch.
"I wouldn’t say we’re on bad terms," he told Narcity. "I just haven’t spoken to him directly recently."
When asked about the now-infamous "Melanie" tattoo, Carrasco said "I would have tried to talk him out of that one."

Carter and Martin ended their whirlwind romance late last month after a domestic dispute, which led to Martin's arrest.
Carter has since taken down all of the photos on his Instagram page that featured Martin in them, and he also took down the ones showing off his "Melanie" tattoo.
He has even suggested moving away from Cali & starting fresh in Florida.
Carter told TMZ that he has no intention of getting back with his ex, but there is no further mention of what the plans are for his ink.
If Carter were to change his mind, Carrasco believes it would be an "easy cover-up."
"I wish Aaron well," Carrasco added.
