We checked out Instagram today and found something unexpected. Chris Brown is having a yard sale at his Los Angeles home in Tarzana today.
The Grammy-award winning R&B singer posted on Instagram to his 57.9 million followers yesterday, saying he will hold a yard sale at his home address. The post encourages his followers to come and get some of his old stuff for low prices.
His poster already has 143k likes and counting.
Brown said, the sale features “significantly marked-down, high end designer items.” The sale is first-come, first-served, and will be held today on November 6 from 10 am to 7 pm and take place at his home in 19602 Citrus Ridge in Tarzana, California.
According to Fox 11 News, high school and college students began lining up at his home around 3 am today in anticipation of the sale and even spent the night sleeping outside of his home. The students said they hoped to receive an autographed picture from Brown.
On Twitter, Mekahlo Medina from TodayInLA reported that neighbors called the Los Angeles Police Department after about one hundred people lined up for Chris Brown's 10 am yard sale. His sale starts in two hours, and even more people are expected to come as the post gains popularity.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that the sale could potentially be shut down, as Brown is bringing in items to sell, not just selling items from his Los Angeles home.

Chris Brown has been trending in the news this week after a leaked snippet was released from an old Eminem track. In the song, Eminem made a controversial remark about Brown's former abusive relationship with Rihanna. According to Insider, the verse was originally recorded for Eminem's 2009 album, titled "Relapse."
