Disney Open Casting Call In LA Seeks Star Wars Fans For Roles

Have you always wanted to be in a Star Wars movie? We’ve found the closest thing. There’s a Disney open casting call in LA and they want to hire real Star Wars fans.

The post on Project Casting says that Disney is looking for real families and groups of friends who are big Star Wars fans and live in southern California. That could be you!

We’ve all seen epic Disney commercials we (not so) secretly wish we could star in. Who doesn’t want to fulfill their lifelong childhood dream of being a Disney star? Add Star Wars into the mix and it’s even better.

You don’t even need to have acting experience to be considered for this job. To apply, you can start by filling out this form online. While the deadline to apply is not listed, we recommend starting ASAP.

The most important part of the application is to describe your love for Star Wars and a little bit about yourself. The bigger the fan, the greater your shot is of getting a highly-coveted part in the commercial. *Starts making flashcards for The Mandalorian*

For those who are asked to move on to the next round, Facetime and Skype interviews will be held with a member of casting staff on dates from December 7 - 11.

A possible second round will be held in Los Angeles on December 14.

Applicants must be available for the Disney Star Wars commercial to film on January 4, 5, and 6, 2020. The commercial’s filming will take place in Los Angeles, California.

The biggest Star Wars fans lucky enough to be hired for the role will be paid $2,000! The shoot day will pay $500, another $500 will be paid out for a stills session and photoshoot, and there will also be a $1,000 buyout when your image is in the final commercial.

For more information and specific details, be sure to check the Project Casting page. Good luck!
