What do the Kardashians and crustaceans have in common? No, this isn't the opening to a punch line. Apparently, they both share the same posh neighborhood. Kim Kardashian befriended a lobster in Calabasas and now it's famous too.

Apparently, one little creature decided it was time to move into the star's neighborhood.

Kim took to Twitter writing, "Just confused how a lobster is walking on my street in Calabasas! What is happening?!?!?!”

In the video, Kim zooms in on the lobster who seems every bit as confused as she is, immediately standing up tall and flicking its pinchers.

It didn't take long before the internet jumped on it. With social distancing, we all have a bit more time on our hands.

The aptly named 'Calabasas lobster' has quickly become internet famous - it even has its own Twitter account!

Soon after, the crustacean joined in on the tweets.

One wrote, "Wtf I think I just passed Kim K’s house.” Seriously. What if it just wanted to take a casual stroll?

Another post said, "1,000 likes and I’ll bite Kanye."

While we're not sure who's the mastermind behind this hilarious under the sea themed account, we're glad to see Kim's doing well and practicing social distancing.

She and her family have been open with their fans about taking their part to curb the spread of the virus.

In a video she shared on her Instagram stories, the star noted that she was actively using disinfectant wipes throughout her house.

Kardashian-West also shared a chart of handwashing techniques to her fans.

She's one of many celebrities who are using their platform to encourage fans to practice social distancing.

Ariana Grande, Kristen Bell, Taylor Swift, and Demi Lovato are just a few of the others.

Arnold Schwarzenegger recently took to Instagram and Twitter to share his favorite methods. We'll just say he's snuggling up to a miniature pony and donkey and leave it at that so you can see the cuteness for yourself.
