Jimmy Kimmel Officially Has A Celebrity Competitor Running Against Him For Mayor Of Dildo
Since he announced his candidacy for mayor in the small Newfoundland town of Dildo, late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel has pretty much been a shoe-in for the position (mostly because he was the only one running, but let's not talk about that). After kickstarting his campaign, it looks as though Kimmel finally has some competition. Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel are both running for mayor of Dildo.
Earlier this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel announced that he was sending his right-hand man Guillermo out to Dildo for the week to do some campaigning for his boss. Things have been going quite well in the town, and it seems as though Guillermo has rallied up tons of support for Kimmel.
On Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian checked in again on Guillermo and his campaign. Although it seems that most people are still remaining loyal to him, Kimmel finally has some competition from none other than Hollywood star, Matt Damon.

When he heard the news, Kimmel said, "we don't need a dildo running Dildo". A resident who was clearly very excited about Damon's candidacy said, "Who would you rather see running Dildo, Jimmy Kimmel or Jason Bourne?".
Kimmel may have some competition now, but that hasn't deterred him and his team from campaigning incredibly hard. Guillermo has been getting to know people all over the town, chatting with them about Kimmel during the day, and getting absolutely wasted with them at night to celebrate the exciting times.

Even if Kimmel isn't elected as the next mayor of Dildo, the small town will definitely have a lot to thank him for. Tourists from all over have been flocking to the area over the past week or so to see what it's all about, and locals couldn't be more pleased with the recent boom in business.
