Do you recall any other major royal news circulating the news last week? On Friday, October 12th, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank had their royal wedding ceremony. It was at this grand event that the Duke and Duchess reportedly decided to announce their baby news.

When you think of it, it makes sense. From the moment Meghan was spotted at the wedding, people were already speculating she could be expecting on a count of a long navy jacket covering her figure.

I didn't want to say anything at the time because I know how annoying the rumour mill is, but Meghan's conversation with Princess Anne suddenly makes a lot more sense now.Anne looking at her stomach, the hand movements etc #RoyalBabyhttps://t.co/98FCquE2D0

She was also seen having a sweet moment with Princess Anne, a moment many are now saying could be the exact time Meghan told her the happy news.

It's unclear how Princess Eugenie felt about the announcement being made at her wedding. However, it's very clear how Twitter feels and they're not holding back.

I’m super excited for the Royal baby but if true, it’s a bit rude to announce it eugenie’s wedding isn’t it?? #RoyalBaby

While the public seems to be happy about the news, they definitely can't ignore the giant elephant in the room - the royal couple completely stole Eugenie and Jack's thunder. "Talk about pissing on someone's parade," one Twitter user wrote.

Eugenie's mom, Sarah Ferguson, may have also thrown some shade at the expecting couple. About 40 minutes following the pregnancy announcement by Kensington Palace, she took to Twitter to post photos of her daughter and new son-in-law professing how proud she is of them - three days after the wedding. Coincidence? I think not.
