A Super Instagrammable 30-Acre Illuminated Park Is Coming To Miami Soon

Miami is getting a new open-air attraction that will make your weekends better. According to Miami Today, the Miami city commissioners have approved the construction for a lighted park underneath I-395.

This new development will have 30-acre of public open space and it will be a massive project along I-395/State Road 836 between Northwest Third Avenue and Biscayne Bay. The I-395 Heritage Trail/Signature Bridge Underdeck Project is expected to feature an amphitheater with lighting and murals, a fountain square, public art, a Heritage Trail with enhanced pavement, a Caribbean Heritage Plaza, and a pedestrian bridge.

The great thing about this project is that it will improve mobility and safety in the surrounding areas. There will also be a multi-purpose plaza with planters and canopy trees perfect for outdoor events. The Underdeck will also feature a double-deck stretch to handle local traffic on the ground and Miami Beach-bound traffic on the upper level.
