A Massive Croqueta Festival Is Coming To Miami This Winter

An American lunchbox might be filled with grilled cheese but in Miami, a kid's lunchbox is filled with croquetas. And, croquetas are one of the best finger foods for any time of day. Croquetapalooza is a croqueta festiva in Miami returning this winter that will bring the most South Florida vibes ever.
Dozens of eateries will join the Magic City Casino to enjoy Cuban's favorite comfort food. But some of you might be wondering, what is a croqueta? It is a bread-crumb fried tube filled with minced ham, onions, garlic and more.
Miami has played homage to the amazing snack with a croqueta bar that opened in Spring 2019. Dos Croquetas are one of the best vendors specializing in croquetas, unique sauces and milkshakes bringing a twist to this common comfort food.
Croquetas are so loved by Miamians that even Night Owl Cookies partnered with Dos Croquetas to release a Chocolate Chip Croqueta Cookie.
Croquetapalooza is not your typical festival bringing regular croquetas. Sef Gonzalez, alson known as The Burger Beast, created this festival to celebrate his Cuban heritage. According to Sun Sentinel, the event has sold out in the past with over 1,000 attendees.
The general admission to the festival will include all croquetas, fritas, other snacks, desserts, craft beer, soft drinks and water. There might be vegan options but it is not confirmed by The Burger Beast.
Tickets to the Croquetapalooza cost $50 per person and you can purchase them here. The festival is only 21 and over. This is definitely a festival where croqueta tasting will make history.
