The most interactive golf bay just arrived to West Palm Beach and it is a golfer's paradise. Drive Shack is the new virtual-reality golf driving range located within a three-story building.
This is the first Drive Shack in South Florida and the fourth in the country. The 60,000-square feet facility offers reality-powered golfing with different games and courses. According to Sun Sentinel, Drive Shack is slightly bigger than a football field.
There are five virtual-reality golf courses and one of them is a re-creation of PGA National. Besides interactive golf courses, Drive Shack features a lounge, outdoor terrace, 150-seat sports bar and a restaurant with a chef-inspired menu.
Drive Shack just opened its doors this Friday, October 18th with 96 driving-range bays. The players can launch balls from the third, second or first floor at 220-foot fairway.
This is a great place for amateurs to practice before playing at a real golf course. Also, you do not need your own equipment. It will be provided at Drive Shack with unlimited golf balls.
If you are not into golf you can also enjoy Drive Shack's retro arcade room. After all, there is something for everyone at this entertainment center.
No need to feel intimidated by other golfers as 70 percent of visitors are non-golfers as mentioned by CBS 12.
As long as you practice, you will be able to make a smooth ball swing like Tiger Woods.
