This Florida Chain Is Giving 50% Off To Hospital Workers & First Responders Right Now

Hard times have the power to unite and bring out the best in us. From offering your neighbor some of your extra TP to calling your friends just to check-in, spreading kindness can help keep people inspired while on self-lockdown. That's the exact philosophy behind the kind initiative of a casual fast-food chain in South Florida. Pincho is giving discounted meals to hospital workers & first responders in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the closure of all restaurant dining rooms and the ban of on-site alcohol sales, Pincho owners have decided to spread a little extra kindness and give back to those who are taking care of us while adapting to the circumstances we all face surrounding the virus.
According to a post that appeared on Pincho's Instagram account, all hospital workers and first responders just need to show a valid ID at any of their locations and will get 50% off their orders.
"This offer will be valid every day going forward until further notice," says Pincho's post, "You have always had our backs; now, it's time for us to have yours."
Narcity reached out to the Miami eatery to know more about the initiative. "We came up with this offer for those who are in the frontline and forefront of this fight," said Vivienne Smith, Local Marketing Specialist for Pincho.
"Closing dining rooms will definitely have its consequences on our business, and we may not be the largest brand out there, but we want to show others we have large hearts."
Smith added that the restaurant has always strived to be a community member and partner.
Those with loved ones in the medical and first responding fields can pass on the message to help them save some cash after a long day's work.
After their shifts, hospital and emergency personnel can pass by any of their nine locations in the Miami area and take home a hot, delicious meal for them and their families with the discount.
While this offer does not include deliveries, you can still order for takeout or pickup. Even if you're not a hospital worker or first responder, you can still take advantage of their free delivery by ordering your favorite Pincho meals via UberEats right now.
In their fight against the spread of COVID-19, Pincho has also included new safety measures to ensure their meals, the public, and their staff are safe.
In another Instagram post, they mention they have increased the frequency in which they sanitize all surfaces and reinforced regular and thorough handwashing from all staff in every restaurant, among other measures.
Pincho is home to dishes that are the kind of culinary staples in Miami worth sinking your teeth into; the Fritanga Burger, and the Toston Sandwich among them.
Their menu also includes skewers, bowls, and other mouthwatering fast-casual food options piled high with tasty toppings.
