After having a recent run-in with the law, 31-year-old Florida resident Charles McDowell became an internet meme sensation when his mugshot, posted by the police department, went viral. More commonly known as "the guy with the wide neck," or as he refers to himself on social media, Wide Neck, he embraced the fun poked at his appearance and is now actually kind of famous because of it.
From the early days of being featured in live videos on his way home from jail to joining the same management team as Daddy Long Neck, McDowell has come pretty far in only a couple of months.
Currently, his Instagram page already has over 1 million followers as he and Daddy Long Neck have become the perfect team to do neck-themed comedy videos, which the internet seems to love. The pair coming together seems to be a once in a lifetime match made in heaven.
One of the most popular videos of the duo is about them telling Santa that what they want for Christmas is for him to "respect the neck," in which the man dressed as Santa looks visibly confused and perhaps even terrified. While one of their most recent videos is the two having their necks measured, with McDowells measuring in at 4 inches high and 9 inches across.

Thousands of comments pour in over their videos , and most have millions of views, so it's not surprising that when Daddy Long Neck and Wide Neck dropped their comedy rap song Necks Big Thing fans wasted no time clicking the Youtube link to get a listen.
The official music video was posted on January 8 by WorldStar HipHop and has already received well over a million views.
The lyrics certainly do not disappoint the "neck" loving fans , with lines like "suck this big neck," and 'b---- said I'm the necks big thing." And, admittedly the beat is sort of catchy.
One commenter on the video responded with, "They need a third member so they can be N.W.A. (Necks With Attitude)," and several others are saying that McDowell is actually not a half bad rapper.
Unfortunately, the video is not even a full 2 minutes - much shorter than most songs. But, maybe it's just a teaser and the Neck Gang will blow our socks off with some new full-length comedy hits in the near future.
