We all love a cozy night in to enjoy some well-deserved Netflix & Chill time. However, from time to time, it is cool to get off the PJs and have a relaxed social hangout with the BFFs. If you are looking for fun things to do in Miami this spring, How about watching a movie under the stars while drinking some booze?
NightLight 305 is a series of seven outdoor movie screenings where you can socialize, and dance to a DJ's beats while enjoying some of the best eats and beverages in town.
This adults-only date night option is starting today, February 6, with the projection of a beloved Cinema classic, The Breakfast Club, at Maurice A. Ferré Park on Biscayne Boulevard.
You can grab tickets right now for your favorite movie on schedule, prices range from $11 to $17, or you can take advantage of the season pass and watch all seven movies for just $60.
If you are attending, make sure to arrive early so you and your friends or boo can find an excellent spot to watch the flick. Screenings start at 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. You can also bring a chair, pillows, and blanket to sit or lay on and make yourself extra comfy.
The venue for this cool event is a perfect little park, and the screen will be backed by the beautiful Miami skyline at all times. A pretty spectacular view.
The resident DJ, LateNite, will provide live music each day, but every one of the screenings will have a different assigned local brewery and an array of yummy food trucks.
That guarantees that you will have a different experience each time you decide to attend. You can check the full schedule for each day here.
Buying a season pass will give you early entry at 6:00 p.m. (before General Admission gates open) and priority seating. You will also have access to a private bar line. The passes are also transferable in case you can't make it one day.
Other movies to be projected are Mean Girls on February 13, Fight Club on February 27, Wedding Crashers on March 5, Drive on March 26, Pretty Woman on April 2, and Jurassic Park on April 16.
The organizers warn that tickets are limited to each date, so some of them may ultimately sell out in advance. Make sure to secure yours while they are available.
