Earlier this month, Florida barbershops and salons finally received the green light to reopen after originally being excluded from the state’s phase 1 plans. With restrictions in place to keep both staff and guests safe, salons across the Sunshine State have been able to start serving their communities again. If you’re still a little hesitant to go out to your favorite salon, there are other options to explore. Now you can tame that quarantine mane with Glamsquad's new haircuts at home.

Glamsquad has been providing South Florida with in-home nail and makeup beauty services, but the addition of haircuts now gives you the option for a full-blown makeover without having to venture out.

The service costs $100 for 75 minutes and includes a personalized style consultation, as well as your favorite blow-out.

60-minute makeup sessions for $75 and 45-minute manicures for $45 are also available if you're wanting to really treat yourself. If possible, they'll even come to you with as little as an hour advanced notice.

Glamsquad is also taking extra precautions to ensure their stylists and customers aren’t put at risk.

In their press release, they mentioned that along with wearing personal protection equipment and having sterilized styling tools, a new Barbicide Certification will be required for all employees. The cert proves the stylist's dedication and competency in being able to provide both safe and clean services.

The company has been closely monitoring CDC guidelines and state regulations and believes they can build on the trust they’ve already earned from clients to continue to provide services they're proud of.

Their Services page explains all you'll need to do to prepare for your self-care day. Stylists can give your cut in a brightly lit room, backyard, or patio space that also has enough space for their gear set-up. They also ask that a broom and vacuum be provided so they can clean up afterward.

Those wanting to switch up their style can now book appointments for haircuts and blowouts on their website as well as through the Glamsquad app.

Glamsquad currently serves Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, and plans on expanding across Florida as soon as possible.
