The charismatic players of the Miami Heat seem to always be up to something when they’re not tearing up the courts. At their annual gala held at the AmericanAirlines Arena, that was no less true. One thing fans love the most about the team is how relatable they are, and who hasn’t had a moment where they try to emulate their favorite rapper or singer? When Jimmy Butler and rapper Rozay shared a moment of brotherly grunts on stage, the fans were loving it.
Rozay, more famously known as "Rick Ross", or William Leonard Roberts III in real life, is a long time Heat fan and even posted a photo on Twitter of himself repping the Heat logo.
This only seems to make the moment they shared on stage that much more memorable, knowing that Rozay was a fan of the team, and that Butler seems to be a fan of the rapper too.
While it took a few tries, Butler attempted to imitate the iconic grunt that Rozay is known for on his tracks — and actually managed to nail it in our humble opinion. In the background, you can hear everyone cracking up.
The hilarious moment was caught by Meyers Leonard, Heat center, who posted the video to Twitter for other fans to enjoy. Being able to laugh at yourself is a hallmark of good character, and it seems to be something both Butler’s new teammates and fans appreciate.

Another video of the moment surfaced on the Miami Heat's IG page, showing a different angle of the star repping his rapper cred.
Not only did fans at the gala seem to love the moment, but users on Twitter took to the forums to appreciate the brotherly love.
This Twitter user expressed their joy and appreciation at seeing such a warm moment from the team, praising the character and love the players share with their fans.

This fan seemed to sum up the moment at the gala perfectly with the tweet "more ungh, more wins."

This isn't the only time members of the team have shown their hearts, humanity, and humor either. The Heat players can often be found goofing off between training sessions, like when Silva and Butler made up their own game called “soccer tennis.”
During the holiday season, they ran several parties and fundraisers to help families in need.
And when the new ViceWave Jersey dropped, Chris Bosh even revealed a freshly painted new basketball court in the jersey’s bright colors. The public park was refurbished for the youth team of Hialeah, Florida.
This is Butler’s first official season with the Heat, and the baller seems to be doing great. In the past 54 games, he’s averaged 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
Wherever they are, you can count on the Miami team to bring goofiness and cheer — both on and off the court.
