Morelia Gourmet Paletas Opens New Location In Hollywood Florida

The best part about our year-round warm weather in the Sunshine State? Always having the perfect excuse to get you some ice cream. Those with a sweet tooth will want to check out the new Morelia Gourmet Paletas location in South Florida.

The sweet shop that first started in Coral Cables has now made its way to Hollywood with a new location, offering Mexican style gourmet popsicles called paletas.

According to their website, each pop is handcrafted with natural ingredients — and they offer some pretty unique flavors you're not likely to see anywhere else.

Those with an affinity for fruity flavors will want to try the pineapple-mint, passionfruit, and greek yogurt with wild berries.

Many of these gourmet pops contain whole ingredients to maximize flavors, such as strawberry halves, cuts of fresh lime, and even the cookies and cream one that literally has a whole Oreo in it.

Some even have a melty gooey center, such as the Dulce de Leche filled with a dulce de leche sauce or the passionfruit filled with condensed milk.

But Morelia doesn't stop with unique flavor options; you can actually craft your pop your way.

First, you pick your favorite paleta flavor, choose from an array of dips, and have them top it off with your favorite sprinkle of toppings.

Some fan favorites include the gooey toasted marshmallow, smores, and Nutella drizzle. You can even get your paleta made ice cream sandwich style, stuffed between two thin chocolatey cookies.

Just watching them assemble these is so satisfying and has us DROOLING.

With so many base flavors to choose from and over a million possible combinations, you can get a new taste every trip.

They also offer smoothies and paleta milkshakes.

Not a fan of all the dairy and refined sugars? No problem. Morelia also offers vegan and refined-sugar-free options.

Now that makes this place extra sweet. Sugary BFF road trip to Hollywood anyone?

Speaking of road trips, check out the first-ever Cartoon Network Hotel that finally opened in Pennsylvania — it's seriously worth the drive!
