This Japanese Garden In Florida Is A Cosplayer Paradise

Do you smell the cherry blossoms?
Japanese Garden In Florida Is A Cosplay Haven

There's a place in Florida that is a cosplayer's paradise, and it is not surprising why. The Morikami Japanese Garden in Palm Beach features cherry blossoms and oriental backdrops perfect for your next cosplay photoshoot.

Save money and cancel the trip to Japan; from koi fish to bonsai trees, here in this South Florida garden center, which is an addition to the Morikami Japanese Museum, you will discover a landscape filled with the best authentic Japanese agriculture.

According to their official website, Morikami’s gardens, named Roji-en: Garden of the Drops of Dew, was designed by Hoichi Kurisu and was inspired by six significant gardens in Japan.

In the garden you will find waterfalls, ponds, bridges, cherry blossoms, koi, statues, and of course, plenty of people dressed as their favorite anime characters. It is truly the next best thing to an expensive trip halfway around the world.

Even more so, the entire place fills with anime lovers during their annual Hatsume Fair. It is Morikami's largest event of the year featuring taiko drumming, martial arts demos, costume and fashion show contests, avenues of artisan booths, plant sales, Japanese street fair food vendors and children’s activities.

The next Hatsume Fair is scheduled for April 4 - 5, 2020. You can find more info on that here
