A Massive Plant-Based Festival Is Coming To South Florida This Month

Many Floridians live a vegan lifestyle so it's no surprise that plant-based festivals continue to become popular in the city. If you missed the Vegandale Fest you can attend the upcoming Plant-Based Festival in Fort Lauderdale this month.

South Florida is one of the top 10 most vegan-friendly cities in the United States according to PETA. This means that there is magic in their food and great healthy eateries.

This environmentally-conscious festival will showcase the latest in food, drink and plant-based goods at Champions Plaza.

There will be a lineup of plant-based vendors such as All Sprouted Up along with other food trucks, fashion, drinks and more. In addition, the festival will include learning opportunities with a health and wellness area featuring exciting workshops, The New Hallandale YMCA, yoga and more.

Think of this festival as a 'smorgasburg' of wellness where you can enjoy healthy food. The event organizers encouraged people to bring their own reusable water bottle, cup, or cutlery to cut down on waste.

Besides enjoying a day of healthy food, guests will learn how to live a happy and fulfilling lifestyle that will encourage them to make positive contributions.

Plastic straws have been banned from many cities in Florida which helps in reducing harm to the environment.

The festival will take place on July 28th at The Village at Gulfstream Park (Champions Plaza) from 11 am to 3:30 pm. This event is completely free to the public and it will include live music, giveaways, contests and more.
