Things will be a bit different in Miami during the Easter season. Instead of heading to the same old egg hunt or egg drop, come and take a picture with giant bunnies, as a big bunny invasion is taking over the Pinecrest Gardens next month.
According to the Miami New Times, the local garden will bring Amanda Parer's popular installation for three weeks. We already see people heading to the gardens to take the best angles and positions for the Instagram soon-to-be popular installation. This installation is called Intrude and it has been shown in Australia to raise awareness about environmental issues caused by an infestation of rabbits.
Pinecrest Gardens is hosting a list of activities during the Big Bunny Invasion. The installation will be available from April 5-11 with these 25-foot tall giant bunnies glowing in the dark. Adults will be able to enjoy a "Hoppy" hour on April 11th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The gates will open at 6 pm each night and get ready to see an invasion on your social media feed with these bunnies. Entrance to the gardens cost $5.
It's time you start practicing your selfie and photography skills. More interactive activities include a glow-in-the-dark yoga session and a dance project.
Make sure you use the official hashtag #BigBunnyInvationPG for your social media posts.
Pinecrest Gardens is located at 11000 Red Rd, Pinecrest, FL 33156. Check here for more information about the schedule and activities.
