If you love recycling and reducing plastic waste, this new company in Miami will let you refill your plastic containers and save on money. Ecopad has officially opened their first retail location in Miami. All you need to do is bring your plastic containers to Ecopad and pay for what you use.

Ecopod is a new store that distributes simple stations to refill your plastic container with household products. The first Miami location opened today and you can find it at 9510 Old Dixie Hwy.

If you're one of the first 50 customers to visit Ecopod you'll get a starter kit with all the bottles and containers you need. But, if you can't get them on time, you can also sign up and get a free kit, or simply take your old plastic containers.

Ecopad offers a variety of products such as laundry detergent, fabric softener, all-purpose cleaner, dishwashing gel, and dish soap, plus a personal care products kiosk with shampoo, conditioner, baby shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. The kiosks will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.

This will save you time and money when searching for different products at the grocery store. Ecopad's detergent can cost you $4 when a regular Gain detergent at CVS can cost you $8.69. Ecopod's dishwashing gel costs  $3 while at a regular store can cost $3.39 or more.
