The Internet Is Broken Up Over Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth's Split

If you don't know, now you know — Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have confirmed their split after speculations circling Cyrus' recent Instagram post, where she was pictured without her wedding ring. The photo was said to be taken while Cyrus was on holiday in Italy with Kaitlynn Carter, Brody Jenner's ex-wife.

The picture on Instagram seems innocent enough, with Cyrus wearing an all black outfit that was accessorized with overlapping jewellery. However, eagle-eyed fans and gossipers were quick to notice that the most important accessory of them all was missing. Cyrus had captioned the post with, "Mute me if you don’t want SPAMMED."

Following these rumours, Cyrus' rep released a statement to People, saying, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time ... they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart."

Things are quiet over on Hemsworth's side of the story, but Cyrus' Instagram photo and her rep's statement has said more than enough. 

It's been one heck of an experience for those who have been riding the Cyrus & Hemsworth roller coaster of emotions. The couple had been on-and-off-again before finally getting their marriage license in December 2018.

So, you can imagine people's reactions to the news of their break up. Most of the couple's fans were heartbroken themselves over the annoucement.
