Jessica Mulroney Styled Mindy Kaling For The Oscars & Gave Toronto A Shoutout
It's a night to remember! The 92nd Academy Awards are here and not only is it a great night to see your favourite movies win awards but all the incredible outfits celebs have to show off. For one celebrity, her outfit has a little bit of a Canadian touch to it. Mindy Kaling's 2020 Oscar dress was reportedly styled by Jessica Mulroney.
In an Instagram story yesterday, Mindy revealed that her glam team was in town getting her ready for Oscars weekend. She introduced a few of her team members before panning the video over to Mulroney.
While introducing Meghan Markle's BFF, Kaling said, "Jess from Toronto!" to which you can see the stylist in the back yelling, "Toronto!"

The Office star then proceeded to show off her makeup artist who travelled all the way from New York to Los Angeles. Mindy then asked the two, "Wait what is closer? New York or Toronto?"
During this Instagram story, the 40-year-old actress revealed she was getting ready for the 35th Independent Spirit Awards where she was a presenter. Mindy also told fans that she would be presenting at the Oscars as well.

For the Academy Awards, Mulroney styled Kaling in a stunning one-shoulder canary yellow dress according to Entertainment Tonight and she revealed that it was designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
Kveller reported that the Canadian stylist has been working with The Mindy Project star since mid-2019. According to the publication, back in June, Mindy posted a photo saying she wasn't sure about rocking a suit, but she ended up becoming "obsessed" with Mulroney's suggestion.
The Canadian then commented on the photo and wrote, "Seriously absolute perfection!!! I just knew you could rock it Mindy!!!" while also giving her Canadian roots a shoutout on her story, "A little Canadian style on the Gorgeous Mindy! I just knew this would be perfect for her!”
