Alberta is home to a beautiful hike that will bring you to gorgeous views and a natural hot spring. Mist Mountain in Alberta has to be on the top of your hiking bucket list if it isn’t already. Just check out the pics, you’ll see why.

Alberta has some epic hikes of all difficulty levels.

The awesome part is that there are breathtaking views to take in all year long. Because who doesn’t want to see a frozen waterfall?

One of the best hikes in Alberta is a relatively well-kept secret. Until now.

Mist Mountain is located in Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park and it’s to die for.

Be prepared for a tough hike. While you may be out of breath when you reach the top, the view alone is worth it.

Plus, you can relax your hurt and sweaty body in a mountain peak hot spring. You will feel your pain melt away.

Altogether, the trail is 9.8 kilometres.

Located near Kananaskis, Alberta, this trail is rated difficult so bring water, snacks, and wear a good pair of shoes.

All Trials writes that the moderately trafficked out trail is primarily used for hiking but you can also camp there.

The best time to use it is from June to September, but who says you can’t enjoy it now?

On another positive note, fur babies are allowed as long as they are on a leash.

Just be sure to bring enough water for your pup, too.

This steep hike will take you to an elevation of 1,265 meters, so you can imagine how gorgeous the views are.

Once you get to the top, pause for a second and take in the rolling mountains. They literally go as far as the eye can see.

Also at the top is the hot springs. It isn’t a large pool but it gets the job done.

All Trails has stated that the hot springs aren’t the easiest to find, but we are sure you’re up for a challenge.

According to the website, the trail to the springs is below the waterfall and is a right turn off the main trail.

Once you’ve made it, strip into your bathing suit, jump in, breathe, and be present. This is what life is all about.

The pictures of the spectacular location are gorgeous enough to make you envious of anyone who has ever gone.

If you’re going to visit, just be sure to be respectful of the space to ensure everyone can enjoy it for years to come.
