It’s hard to imagine going to a Toronto Blue Jays game these days without seeing a few cameo appearances from its J FORCE. The team’s cheerleading unit is always there to inject some much-needed energy into the crowd, and now you can too! That’s right, everyone’s famous squad is officially hiring for the team’s 2020 season.

According to the hiring website, the J FORCE is considered as an "integral part of the in-game entertainment experience at every Blue Jays home game."

"They execute on-camera giveaways, entertain and engage the crowd in the stands, meet with fans during games on the concourse and at Blue Jays' events, and get the opportunity to work within the community,” a description on the Blue Jays website reads.

“We are looking for individuals who are energetic, athletic, and comfortable in front of large crowds. Candidates must also be able to work effectively in a team environment, have exceptional communication skills, and must be knowledgeable about our team and the game of baseball,” the description adds.

So, what is the requirement to audition? Thankfully, the job doesn’t require you to have eight years in jazz-tap to audition.

All that is needed is that you are at least 19 years old and are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Having some training in dance, gymnastics, or other performance mediums is obviously helpful, but that experience isn’t needed to audition.

It's worth noting that all J FORCE members must be willing to work all 81 home games of the 2020 baseball season.

You will also need to be open to working during the postseason and any additional promotional or themed event.

“Candidates must also be able to work the weekend of January 18 & 19 for Winter Fest, as well as attend more frequent daily rehearsals throughout the two weeks leading up to Opening Day on Thursday, March 26."

"With offseason events and rehearsals, being a member of J FORCE will be a 10-month commitment throughout 2020,” a statement on the audition posting reads.

If you are selected for an audition, you will need to learn various pump-up routines as well as a 7th inning stretch routine.

Those chosen will also need to perform the methods in small groups, followed by an interactive exercise.

However, if you're a Blue Jays fan this is the perfect job for you, as it ensures that you will be at every home game that the Jays play in the 6ix.
