If you love to be around animals and are looking for some extra cash this summer, you might want to start getting your resume together. The Toronto Zoo jobs page has multiple positions for hire in 2020, and there are a variety of summer options available. You can apply to be a Zoomobile Commentator, an Adventure and Attractions Attendant, a Bush Camp Guide, Camp Counsellor and more.

The good news is that you don't need a lot of experience to apply. Most of the qualifications only require a good attitude.

Although a full G license is an asset, most of the requirements that need to be met are simply a good work ethic and people skills. Another common requirement is the ability to work 5 days a week for 8 hours.

If you think you're up for it, you can check out the positions in better detail on their website. Most of the deadline applications are in early February depending on the job, so make a note of the dates so you don't miss them.

Most of the applications are due by February 2, 2020, while the Camp Counsellors job applications are due by February 6, 2020.

Many of the positions begin between March and May and are perfect for your summer job needs.

The Adventure & Attractions Attendant and Seasonal Retail & Membership Sales Position are both options that require little experience.

However, some other jobs require a little bit more knowledge.

The Zoo Camp Counsellors positions will start in June and end in September and you can help run the children's camp on location.

Some of the positions even fill a 40-hour workweek into just a few days, so you don't even need to work all week.

An example is the Bush Camp Guides. They do longer than normal hours, which are condensed into two or three days, so you have the rest of the week free to enjoy your summer.

If you need help working on your resume, there will be several Toronto job fairs where you can work one-on-one with city employees to help upgrade your CV.

You can also check out other potential positions that the City has to offer, some of which are even paying their employees over $100,000 a year.

The Toronto Zoo revealed to Narcity that they will be holding a Career Fair at the Zoo on Saturday, February 8, 2020.*
