MTV Is Officially Reviving 'Jersey Shore'...In Florida?

While 'Jersey Shore' did have a brief reunion and iconic Burger King commercial this past summer, the original cast is old, married and #notdown to live in a Jersey trap-house again. And so, MTV has blessed us in bringing in a group of hot, young, fun singles to revive the 'Jersey Shore' franchise. Except it won't take place in Jersey, but rather Florida. 

The 'Jersey Shore' reboot is titled 'Floribama Shore' which already sound pretty terrifying to me. The show's setting takes place on the Florida Panhandle and stretches from Florida to Alabama, hence the scary name. 8 hot boys and girls will star in the Panama City series to try and live our their best summer. MTV says each 'Floribama Shore' cast-mate is,  "armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it’s ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you’ll come to call family."
