This New Netflix Horror Series May Even Be Scarier Than 'The Haunting Of Hill House'

The Haunting of Hill House was literally the only TV show anyone talked about last year, and now another Netflix original is taking its top spot. We still have some time to wait for the anticipated season 2 of The Haunting of Hill House, but Netflix has provided us with the perfect show to fill our horror needs. There's a new Netflix horror show that's scarier than The Haunting of Hill House.

Typewriter is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and takes place in Goa, India. It's a five-part series that follows Sameera and her two friends planning to ghost hunt in an old building called the Bardez Villa. A new family suddenly moves into the abandoned home causing unnatural and horrific things to happen.

Netflix describes the premise as, "Three young friends in Goa plan to search an old villa for ghosts, but when a new family moves in, the home’s buried past resurfaces in chilling ways."

The show just began streaming on July 19 and viewers are already losing sleep over how scary the new series is. One fan even said that Typewriter, "is one of the best horror series" they've ever seen.

Some people are even breaking their no recommendation rules to promote Typewriter:

Someone even made a joke about director Sujoy Gosh getting all the sleep because of the show's success, while they couldn't get any sleep because of how scary the show was.

Make some popcorn, turn on Netflix, and get ready to be spooked!
