Bad news all you cool cats and kittens. Netflix's Tiger King bonus episode reportedly won't feature your favourite cat-loving star, Carole Baskin. She's among Doc Antle and two of Joe Exotic's husbands that you won't be seeing in the new episode.
Earlier this week, Jeff Lowe, the current owner of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma, announced some unexpected and exciting news.
He shared in cameo videos for fans that we can look forward to an eighth part in the docuseries.
Joined with his wife Lauren, Lowe said that Netflix is "gonna add another episode here in a few weeks, kind of wrapping things up."
The videos were reposted on Twitter in early April and he didn't give much detail about a release date. However, he claimed that filming was set to begin this week and we could expect the episode in the coming weeks.
So far, we know that Lowe and his wife will be key figures. But the queen of cool cats herself will likely not be showing her face.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Carole Baskin hasn't been asked to appear in the new episode and has no interest in doing it anyway.
EW claims that a rep told them that, "We have not been approached about a new episode and would not participate if asked."

Baskin expressed her disappointment with the docuseries on her Big Cat Rescue blog, writing that she was approached by Netflix five years ago with the goal of making a documentary like Blackfish.
Baskin wrote, "There are no words for how disappointing it is to see that the series not only does not do any of that, but has had the sole goal of being as salacious and sensational as possible to draw viewers."
She added that the show painted her out to be responsible for the disappearance of her husband Don Lewis back in 1997.
"They did not care about truth. The unsavory lies are better for getting viewers," Baskin wrote.
EW also claims that animal trainer Doc Antle won't be in the new episode. He reportedly wants "nothing more to do with any future projects tied to Tiger King."
If you binge-watched your way through all seven parts in the series, then you'll be very familiar with Joe Exotic's many husbands.
According to PEOPLE, his husband Dillon Passage spoke with Andy Cohen and shared that he won't be featured in the new episode.
Passage added, "it’s going to be like a live-based episode I believe, kind of like a reunion."
Plus, Exotic's ex-husband John Finlay won't be making an appearance either since he doesn't want to be affiliated with the series anymore, per EW.
As for the Tiger King himself, Exotic hasn't been ruled out from appearing in the new episode.
According to Netflix's Twitter, the wild cat breeder spoke with them on March 22 via video chat while he's locked up in prison.

He is currently serving 22 years on counts of murder for hire against Baskin and animal abuse on some of the over 200 cats he owned in his zoo.
Netflix has not yet confirmed that the bonus episode is coming, or if Exotic will be featured in it.
While you wait, you can catch all seven episodes of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness on Netflix now.
