Netflix Is Reportedly Releasing A Bonus Episode Of ‘Tiger King’ Soon

It's the gift that keeps on giving! Netflix's Tiger King is reportedly coming out with an extra episode sometime soon. Jeff Lowe shared the news in a Cameo video and said filming will begin this week.
The brand new seven-part docuseries dropped on March 20 and immediately gained attention and praise from viewers.
Each episode will take you on an incredibly wild experience as it explores big cat owners and breeders who operate sanctuaries for the animals.
Lead star Joe Exotic gained himself quite the attention for his eccentric personality and lifestyle of raising over 200 tigers and lions. His budding feud with fellow wild cat owner Carole Baskin even landed him in prison for 22 years on counts of murder for hire against Baskin, as well as animal abuse.
Exotic handed over the keys to the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma to Jeff Lowe when legal bills from his lawsuit with Baskin got too much.
Since then, Lowe and his wife Lauren have kept the zoo up and running.
A recent Cameo video was posted to Twitter by Los Angeles Dodgers baseman Justin Turner, where the zoo owners share that a new episode may be coming to Netflix very soon.

In the video, Lowe says, "Hey, Kourtney and Justin, this is Jeff Lowe from the Tiger King show on Netflix. Thank you for watching our show, Christie said you're a big fan, and... yeah, you need a life. You just wasted seven hours on us. Take care guys, we love you."
He continues, "Netflix is adding one more episode, we'll be on next week. We're filming here tomorrow. Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on."
In another Cameo video posted by Doug Landry, Lowe and his wife share, "We appreciate you watching the show. It was crazy to film, crazy to live, and horrible to watch. Thank you for giving up seven hours of your life on us. Netflix is gonna make you give up one more though because they're gonna add another episode here in a few weeks, kind of wrapping things up."
Lowe added, "Take care, thanks again for watching. Stay safe. Carole did it."
Yes, I feel a little bit badly about giving $$ to Jeff Lowe to record this cameo for @ahornbrook (but maybe he can… https://t.co/PfaePo6Prd— Doug Landry (@Doug Landry) 1585937562
Lowe didn't share when exactly we can expect the new episode, but filming at the zoo will begin this week so it could be coming relatively soon.
Netflix's Twitter account posted a video interview with Joe Exotic from prison last week.
When asked what message he would send to fans of the show, the Tiger King star said, "I'm done with the Carole Baskin saga, it's now time to turn the tables and Joe get out of jail a free man and exonerated from all these charges."
Despite the huge popularity of the docuseries, Exotic joked that "it would be nice if I actually see me being famous out there but I've seen these same four walls for a year and a half now."

It's unclear whether that interview is part of Netflix's bonus episode of Tiger King.
But that isn't the only thing they have planned with Exotic. Last week we learned that he and Making A Murderer star Steven Avery would meet via video chat for a new Netflix special.
Both men are currently locked up in different prisons, with Avery on life imprisonment for first-degree murder.
