The Netflix Film Twitter account shared a thread of what's hitting the platform soon. They also noted to say "so far" which likely means there's even more in store for us.

They shared the titles of 29 movies and of those 12 have already secured place card holders on the Netflix Canada app. Perhaps it's too early for them to be added to the streaming platform, but hopefully, it doesn't mean that Netflix US is getting more movies than their neighbours up north.

The Twitter account mentioned Miss Americana, an hour and a half documentary following Taylor Swift that's coming on January 23.

The film follows "one of the most iconic artists of our time as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice."

Next up is Hillbilly Elegy that stars Amy Adams, Glenn Close, and Gabriel Basso in "a modern exploration of the American Dream about three generations of an Appalachian family."

That's followed by Da 5 Bloods starring Chadwick Boseman, Paul Walter Hauser, Norm Lewis, Delroy Lindo, and Jonathan Majors. Both films have no set release date yet.

You probably already have this marked in your calendar, but To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is coming on February 12 just in time for a Valentine's Day in with your boyfriend or your best gal pals.

The Last Thing He Wanted has big stars Anne Hathaway, Willem Dafoe, and Ben Affleck and its official premiere is on January 27 at the Sundance Film Festival, with an unconfirmed date for its Netflix drop.

Luckily, in the meantime, we'll have a thriller film from Tyler Perry dropping on January 17 about "a disheartened woman restored by a new romance, discovers her relationship is full of secrets, and her vulnerable side quickly turns violent."

The Willoughbys is an animated comedy featuring so many famous voices including Alessia Cara, Martin Short, Will Forte, Ricky Gervais, Maya Rudolph, and Terry Crews. It should be coming in the springtime.

The Half of It is a coming of age drama-comedy that revolves around "Shy, straight-A student Ellie is hired by sweet but inarticulate jock Paul who needs help wooing the most popular girl in school."

Dick Johnson Is Dead is a documentary from Kirsten Johnson about her 86-year-old father.

The Platform first premiered at 2019 TIFF and will be on Netflix Canada soon. It's based "in a future dystopia" where "prisoners housed in vertically stacked cells watch hungrily as food descends from above."

Barack and Michelle Obama executive produced Crip Camp, a documentary about "Woodstock in the 70s". Its release date according to IMDb is in January 2020.

The animated film called Over the Moon is a musical from Glen Keane and will take you on an adventure all the way to outer space.

Other movies that Netflix Film mentioned include The Old Guard, Eurovision, All the Bright Places, The Kissing Booth 2, and Lost Girls.
