New Shows On Quibi

Try something new today! Although there are already an abundance of streaming services available for your enjoyment, a new one has joined the list. The platform has set itself apart from the others by providing star-studded content in short-form videos that are perfect for streaming on the go. They’ve only been available for a few hours, but viewers are already loving the new shows on Quibi!

If you’re unfamiliar with the new service, Quibi is short for “quick bites”, which is exactly what the platform seeks to provide with its episodes that are less than 10 minutes long.

Besides the appeal of the short-form videos, the app is also offering an amazing 90-day free trial for its new users for a limited time, which gives viewers access to over 50 original shows for three months, for absolutely no cost to them.

After watching these new series, some users have already taken to Twitter to express their love for Quibi’s content.

One show in particular that’s getting a lot of love is Survive, starring Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. The series tells the story of two people, stranded after a plane crash, who must work together to survive in the extreme elements.

Another show that’s been receiving raving reviews is the Liam Hemsworth led Most Dangerous Game. The series is about a terminally ill man who wants to ensure that his pregnant wife will be taken care of after he passes.

Hemsworth spent many weeks in Ontario in late 2019 for the show’s production, and viewers seem to be loving his performance so far.

As far as reality TV goes, Chrissy’s Court (a Judge Judy style comedy series hosted by Chrissy Teigen) and the Punk’d reboot hosted by Chance the Rapper are also receiving major love from Twitter users.

Other shows currently trending on Quibi include Flipped, Last Night’s Late Night, When the Streetlights Go On, Gayme Show!, and Thanks A Million.

Instead of providing episodes in binge-watching format, Quibi will be uploading new episodes of its shows on a daily and/or weekly basis, spreading it’s content out so that you have even more to look forward to over the coming weeks.

Quibi is currently available for download on the app store with a 90-day free trial. When the trial ends, Canadians can expect to pay $6.99/month for content with advertisements, or $9.99/month for ad-free viewing.
