You Now Need Proof Of A Vaccine In NYC To Go To Gyms, Restaurants & Indoor Venues

There was a stark warning for those who choose not to get vaccinated.

All restaurants, gyms and indoor entertainment venues in New York City will require proof of at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, the city's mayor announced Tuesday, August 3.

During a live broadcast posted on his Twitter account, Mayor Bill de Blasio told New Yorkers that the policy would come into effect over the next few weeks, adding: "If you want to participate in our society fully, you've got to get vaccinated."
