Reports are saying that this Pokemon Go take on Harry Potter could be in your hands as soon as early 2018.
According to TechCrunch, Niantic, the creators of Pokemon Go, are partnering with a division of Warner Bros. Entertainment to bring the game to life.
Aptly named "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite," the new game is still a big question mark, as the details of how the game will work and how it will be played are under wraps until further notice.
But based on the functionality of Pokemon Go, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will hopefully incorporate the same hangout spaces that we saw in Pokemon Go.
And in a Niantic press release cited by MobileSyrup, more tidbits about what we can expect from the wizarding world of Harry Potter are revealed: "By exploring the neighbourhood and cities around the world, players will go on adventures, learn spells, discover mysterious artifacts, and meet fantastic animals and creatures."
