A jury just found Bill Cosby guilty of three counts of sexual assault.
The 80-year-old comedian made dozens of headlines a few years ago when actresses, models and other celebrities came forward accusing Cosby of sexual assault, rape and drugging them.

Many of their stories shared similarities. Many were asked to meet Cosby at a hotel, they were drugged with something that seemed like "date rape", and they met with Cosby because he claimed to help them rise to fame.
Many of the women that accused Cosby had passed the statute of limitations. One case, in particular, had not. Cosby was accused of drugging and violating a woman at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He was charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault. He is facing up to 10 years in prison for each account.
This Bill Cosby verdict is a big deal.— andy lassner (@andylassner) April 26, 2018
A really big deal.
Women were sexually assaulted by this man and then dragged through the mud by his lawyers and a lot of the press.
I hope they are able to find some sliver of peace and healing today.❤️
An important lesson of Bill Cosby's rise and fall is that people can be fooled by the millions. Kindheartedness can be a personality trait, or a cloak that hides the exact opposite trait.— Bret Weinstein (@BretWeinstein) April 26, 2018
Beware of what matches your prejudices--especially your positive ones.
To all of the women who were assaulted by Bill Cosby, I can’t imagine this takes away any of the pain he caused you, but I hope the guilty verdict brings you some peace.— Dana Goldberg (@DGComedy) April 26, 2018
