Calgary Is Going To Make All School Kids From K-12 Wear Masks
Alberta is only mandating that grades 4-12 wear masks.
Calgary's putting their own measures in place to curb the spread of COVID-19 in city schools.
On Friday, August 14, the Calgary Board Of Education announced in an update that all students and staff will have to wear masks at school. This goes beyond the measures proposed in Alberta's back-to-school plan, according to the update.
This includes classrooms and public spaces such as hallways, learning commons, bathrooms, etc.

Alberta had announced in early August that only students between grades 4 and 12 will be made to wear masks.
The Calgary Catholic School District is also mandating masks for all students from K-12, as stated in an update.
On top of back-to-school measures, the entire city has made mask-wearing mandatory in public indoor spaces and on public transit.
