If you're looking for your next adrenaline rush, we think we have just the thing. To the thrill seeker who's not quite ready to jump from thousands of feet to get a fix, we have a great alternative. An insane two pillar skydiving experience is set to knock the wind out of Calgarians very soon. No jumping. No Parachutes. No crippling fear. Just fun. Calgary's new iFLY indoor skydiving centre will open this June!

Experience free falling safely in one of their two simulation chambers, engineered to perfection. Opposing fans above and below will lift and support your weight suspending you mid-air - mimicking flight, and with the help of a certified flight instructor, you'll be able to flip and tumble or just relax while an extremely powerful wind blows your cheeks apart, in 12 feet of space, wall to wall.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving confirmed to Narcity that the highly-anticipated Calgary location will open in June 2019.

They also gave us all the details on their brand new facility set to open this summer! The facility will feature party and conference rooms, perfect for hosting a group event, and will offer education programs, for those who want to perfect the competitive sport of indoor skydiving.

The space-age project which is nearing its completion will call 901 - 64th Avenue home located in Deerfoot City Shopping Centre. The shopping mall is an 80 acre retail district in the North East quadrant of the city.

Calgary's largest retail transformation is also expected to add a central plaza, a food lodge and restaurant campus and a style district, in addition to the indoor skydiving facility.

This location will be one of five of it's kind to be built in Canada by entertainment group iFLY, the world's largest indoor skydiving operator with 32 other locations across the globe; so they know a thing or two about defying the laws of gravity.

For this particular facility, iFly has chosen Alberta construction company Scott Builders. Since they were founded in 1971 they've worked on many sizable retail spaces, recreation centres and commercial developments all over Canada, but a project like this? This is definitely a first.

We're excited to announce that Calgary's first ever indoor skydiving facility will open in the city this summer! Stay tuned for more information.
