We are incredibly happy that so many movies are filmed in Canada. One of the reasons? It seriously increases our chances of seeing stars in our own cities. The latest film to hit Canada for production? The sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In other words, a star-studded cast has landed in Canada and we couldn't be more excited. Nick Jonas, Kevin Hart and Jack Black were seen in Calgary filming the Jumanji sequel.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a photo of him today landing in Canada and it got tons of fans super excited. Get ready for the excitement to continue, because several other stars have touched down on Canadian soil as well.
It looks like many of the stars of the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle have now arrived in Canada and begun shooting. The new movie will be filming around Calgary and Alberta.
Kevin Hart shared a few videos on his Instagram earlier today of the stars on set and there were definitely some familiar faces. The first video shows the actor and comedian in the snowy mountains as he says, "Holy cow, look at my set. Look at our set for the day. Jumanji." He continues and adds, "Look at my guy, look at my brother," as Jack Black appears in the frame.
In another one of Hart's Instagram videos, a different star makes a special appearance – none other than Nick Jonas. With him in the video, Kevin Hart jokes, "So I'm out here doing a music video with Nick."
You can watch the full videos on Kevin Hart's Instagram Story.
The Rock also shared a photo of him on Instagram arriving in Calgary for the new movie. He even gave the city a heartfelt shoutout in the caption.
The sequel is set to be released this December. It is a follow-up to the 2017 movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which was a hit with both audiences and at the box office.
We are so excited for this epic new movie to be filmed in Canada. We definitely hope to run into the star-studded cast of the new Jumanji movie soon! If you're in Calgary, definitely keep a lookout.
