Hundreds Of Loblaws Drug Marts In Alberta Will Have COVID-19 Testing Next Month

As the school year is about to begin,has become so mainstream that you can now get it done while grabbing groceries.
In a release on Tuesday, August 18, the province announced that they were expanding testing and Albertans without any symptoms of novel coronavirus can now book COVID-19 tests at Shoppers Drug Mart and other Loblaws pharmacies.
This will provide a baseline for school re-entry and enhance access throughout the school year.

Right now, only 50 Loblaws pharmacies are offering testing; however, by the start of September, all 234 of their locations in Alberta will.
You should only do this test if you have no symptoms — if you're symptomatic, book your test through Alberta Health Services.
The province first announced that anyonecan get tested at the start of June but with school starting, they're now ramping up their efforts.
