Thanks to a new partnership, you can now report acts of animal cruelty in Vancouver just like any other crime.

Richmond News has reported that the BC SPCA has teamed up with Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers to help animals that have been neglected.

Every year, Cruelty Investigations Department conducts more than 9,500 animal cruelty investigations.

The organizers of this partnership have stated that animal cruelty is a crime regardless of if the victim is a pet or farm animal.

You’ll now be able to anonymously report these crimes with the possibility of being eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.

To report animal abuse, all you need to do is visit the Crime Stoppers website or call 1(800)222-8477.
