Get ready coffee lovers, this one is for you! Starbucks has officially announced that it will be joining the likes of some of our favourite restaurants and eateries with at-home delivery! That’s right. Starting on Aug. 15, Uber Eats is coming to Starbucks in B.C! Here’s what you need to know.
Uber Eats is possibly one of the most useful apps ever created. Who doesn’t love ordering food and drinks straight to your door while lounging in your pajamas?
Starbucks confirmed with Narcity that our favourite coffee chain is now going to deliver directly to your door! Starting today, B.C. residents will be able to order all the classic Starbucks drinks and eats we know and love from the comfort of your home or office.
Starbucks has stated that the new delivery service will include unique packaging to ensure our drinks stay their intended temperature. Here's hoping your caramel macchiato stays nice and hot until you get it!
Right now on Uber Eats, you can get some seriously delicious munchies that include anything from fast-food to all you can eat sushi. Now, the one-of-a-kind food delivery service will be adding a favourite amongst all coffee-enthusiasts.
As a user, you will also be able to track your Starbucks order directly through the Uber Eats app — which means you will know exactly how long it will take! It is expected that each Starbucks delivery will take a maximum of 30 minutes.
The delivery fee at this time is unknown, but can you really put a price on someone delivering you coffee right to your door?
Uber Eats currently operates in over 500 locations across the world including 27 cities across Canada. That means no matter where you go, you can get on-demand coffee.
The awesome thing about Starbucks and Uber Eats is that it's just as customizable on the app as it is in person. That means there are over 170,000 different drinks to choose from so you never have to order the same thing twice.
Whether you are a hungover mess or just too slammed at work to leave the office, Uber Eats literally has your back.
This life-changing announcement officially starts today and honestly, we're starting to forget how we functioned before.
