In 2019 alone, over 40 people have disappeared in Metro Vancouver and surrounding areas. Many of these individuals went missing in recent months. Here is a list of nine people who have disappeared near Vancouver. The police have recently requested public assistance in finding each of these individuals. This list includes active missing persons investigations in B.C. RCMP jurisdictions.

Clara Michelle Rabang
Clara Michelle Rabang, 18, is from Chilliwack, B.C. and was last seen on Aug. 3, 2019, in the 6400-block of Reid Road. Rabang is an indigenous female who is 5’6, has dark brown hair, and brown eyes.

Ryan Provencher and Richard Scurr
Ryan Provencher and Richard Scurr were last seen together on July 17, 2019, in the 16400 block of 23A Avenue in Surrey. The pair were spotted in a white Jeep Cherokee.
The investigation is ongoing, though it is believed they were travelling to Spences Bridge, B.C. and it’s indicated that they made it to their destination, according to the B.C. RCMP. Their Jeep was located near Logan Lake, B.C. but the men were not found.
Police are asking that anyone with information contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
Ethel ‘Grace’ Baranyk
Ethel ‘Grace’ Baranyk, 86, was last seen on July 13, 2019, in the 45000-block of Lenora Crescent, Chilliwack. A caregiver was the last person who saw her. She is 5’4 and has short white hair that may still be in rollers. She was wearing a grey sweater, grey vest, and navy blue plants when she went missing.
RCMP say she answers to the name Grace and may be confused. Police believe she may be in need of medical attention.

George Lorry Wood
George Lorry Wood was last seen four years ago and Burnaby RCMP is asking once more for the public’s help in finding him. While this case isn't new, RCMP have reopened the case this year in hopes of finding Wood. This gentleman was last seen on June 20, 2015, after he was dropped off at Surrey Central Skytrain Station.
Since his disappearance, police have not had any reported sightings. He is 5’9 with brown hair and brown eyes.

Wolf Hagen Wagner
Wolf Hagen Wagner is a 74-year-old male who was last seen in Coquitlam on June 1, 2019. Wagner was last seen in brown leather loafers, brown pants, and a brown and gold sweater. His belongings had been left behind including his wallet and cell phone.
His car, associated with his disappearance, is a green, 2017 Volkswagen Jetta (4-door) BC License PW638B.

The parents of Ryan McAuley have recently launched a public appeal with Coquitlam RCMP with hopes of bringing their son home. Ryan McAuley was last seen on Feb. 15, 2019, on security video in a store in the 11000 block of 200 Street, Maple Ridge.
McAuley was wanted on a mental health warrant. He is not believed to be a public risk and has gone missing in the past. As of now, he has left no trace and police believe he could be anywhere.

Kristofer Shawn Couture
The Chilliwack RCMP and the mother of Kristofer Shawn Couture are asking the public for information on his whereabouts. Kristofer Shawn Couture was reported missing to the Chilliwack RCMP after making the last contact with his family in Jan. 2019.
Couture was living in the Lower Mainland and went to work in Maple Ridge on Jan. 25, 2019. His vehicle was found abandoned in Chilliwack later that day.

Timothy Marc Delahaye
Timothy Marc Delahaye, 29, was last seen on Apr. 29, 2019 at Cultus Lake near the Canada-U.S. border. Police believe that the man might have travelled in the backcountry from B.C. to Washington.
Timothy Marc Delahaye is 6’4 with a slim build and long red/brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket with a turquoise shirt and green pants.
Anyone with any information about Timothy Marc Delahaye is asked to contact their local police agency.
